Picnic at HuluYam

Today is second day of Chinese New Year. We 'celebrated' it by going to HUlu Yam for a picnic. We went to The Woods Resort, HUlu Yam. Our journey started at 11.00am. The resort is situated 20 kilometers from Batu Caves. To go there, we must pass through Batu Dam which has a lovely scenery. However, beware !!! The road is windy and sometime when it rains, the road becomes slippery. The same road can be used as an alternative road to Genting Highlands. To enter the resort, we must pay the entrance fee of RM2.00 per person and free of charge for the kids.

When we reached there, Abe and Meme helped Babah to set up the tent. After that Abe, Meme, Kakak and Shashah jumped into the river together with Chu. Who is Chu? She is Mama's younger sister who is now in standard four. Chu is Abe and Meme's 'partner in crime' especially when the things is related to Atuk and Nenek! Everybody was screaming because the water was so cold. In fact, Shashah was shivering after a few moments 'berendam' in the water but refuse to come out. Well, as for Chu, Abe, Meme and Kakak, the cold water doesn't stop them from enjoying themselves. At least two hours they all 'berendam' before they took a break !!!
